Q: How do I become a user?

A: Becoming a user couldn’t be easier. All you have to do is to create an account and hurray you are a user. You can create an account by clicking Sign Up.

Q: How much does it cost to become a user?

A: It is absolutely free to become a user.

Q: What are the different types of users?

A: There are 2 types of users: customers and sellers 

Q: Who can become a seller?

A: All users on Jsobs have the ability to sell their products.  A seller can be an individual or a sales representative of a company. 

Q: What is required to sell on Jsobs?

A: Once you are registered, you can sell your products, however, sellers have to be approved and update their payment information to receive payments. 

Q. What items can be sold on Jsobs?

A. Any product that is not illegal and falls into one of our several categories. 

Q. I want to sell on Jsobs, what condition should the product be?

A. Products listed on Jsobs can be New, Refurbished, Used and Not Working For Parts Only. A seller is required to list the condition of each product that is listed on Jsobs. It is the buyer’s responsibility to read about the product’s condition or get clarification from the seller before buying the product. 

Q: What payment methods do you accept?

A: We accept mobile money, Visa and Master Card, Bank Transfer. We will also be accepting Paypal as soon as it is available in Ghana.  

Q: How do I receive an item after purchase?

A: After purchase, your product will usually be delivered by post or ground (car). Each seller has their own delivery/shipping policy. Ensure you have read the sellers shipping policy before you purchase the item. If not sure contact the seller for clarification. 

Q: How long does it take to receive the items I bought?

A: The duration for product delivery will be indicated in the product listing or under the seller’s shipping policy. Buyers are to pay attention to the delivery duration or ask the seller before making a purchase. Normally, items that the seller ship from within Ghana to another location in Ghana, immediately after purchase will be received after the next business day or two.  If you have not received your item after a reasonable time contact the seller.

Q. I purchased a product, I still have not received the product after 1 week, even though the seller stated I will receive the product after 2 days what should I do?

A. After the shipping duration has lapsed, you have the option to contact the seller to find out why you have not received your product. You can request a refund or ask the seller to resend a new product If you believe the product is missing. For example, the product was supposedly delivered but you haven’t received it yet.  If you have exhausted all options or the seller is not responsive you can ask us to step in. Usually, issues about product delays are resolved after contacting the seller.

Q: Can I return an item I purchased?

A: Items that arrive damaged, faulty or not as described can be returned for a refund. If you change your mind and want to return the items, you can ask the seller if they will accept it. Read our full Return Policy

Q: What is your shipping or return policy?

A: Shipping and return policies will vary from seller to seller. If a seller has a shipping or returns policy it will be clearly stated on the product listing page. It is the buyers’ responsibility to read what the policy says. Even if a seller doesn’t have a returns policy, items that arrived damaged or are not as described can be returned under Jsobs Money Back Guarantee.

Q: Who pays for shipping when a product is returned?

A: This depends on the reason for the return. For items that are not as described or that arrived damaged, the seller pays for the shipping cost. Returns for all other reasons, the sellers will indicate who bears the cost in their returns policy.
